ArtsLink works to bring glory to Jesus among the nations by creating short and long-term outreach opportunities for visual artists.

We create collaborative efforts among visual artists to uniquely impact communities around the globe. ArtsLink teams are often invited into places where there is no visible church.

Immersed in foreign environments, these artists are mentored and encouraged to collaborate with the Spirit, to observe culture, looking for truth and beauty already present, and to respond. Sometimes alone, sometimes in community. Artists are encouraged to learn the language and to find culturally appropriate symbols. Then with God-given inspiration, they are encouraged to create for a particular people or community.

We assist artists in working diligently to create a body of work that connects with the people. The artists are encouraged to collaborate, so that our unity adds weight to our testimony. We intentionally build relationships, by living among the people, and welcoming curious locals into studio space where deeper conversations can ensue. Through these relationships, opportunities are further created to collaborate with locals and engage in cultural exchange.

Often we invite people to join us in creating. Communities are engaged through public art, through workshops, and through exhibitions. Through the exhibitions, we welcome the public to see and experience various art forms, such as: Painting, sculpture, photography, textiles and other visual art forms.

After five years of leading short-term trips, we are on the verge of opening art centers in the countries most visited. We will continue to create non-intimidating environments, where opportunities for natural interaction develop. We will continue to teach artists to speak confidently yet humbly about their work, the inspiration, creation and meaning. Striving to bring a personal touch to the art created, we will keep sharing our inspiration. And so we hope the curiosity of many will draw them into a life changing encounter with the God of our inspiration.
